💚 Thankful Thursday
Today we’re celebrating every parent, teacher, student, and community member who has shared, donated, or cheered us on this week. Your support means the world — and it’s helping us move closer to building a safe, inclusive playground for all Green Acres kids.
If you haven’t had a chance yet, we’d love your help today: donate, share, or tag someone who cares about our school.

💚 Why It Matters Wednesday
Our kids deserve a playground that’s safe, inclusive, and built for every child.
This project will impact more than 500 Green Acres students every single day, and will become a space the entire community can enjoy.
Whether it’s safety, accessibility, inclusion, or simply giving our kids a place they can be proud of, your voice helps families understand why this project can’t wait. Thank you for helping us keep the momentum going!
With gratitude,
Sheena Miles, Green Acres PTO President

💬 Testimonial Tuesday
Today we’re sharing voices from our own Green Acres parents who are stepping up to help build safe, inclusive playgrounds for our kids.
Their “why” is the same as ours: our children deserve better — and together, we can make it happen.
"Having an inclusive playground means our kids will have more opportunities to get to know and play alongside kids who are different from them. In a world that increasingly focuses on what makes people different rather than what we have in common, this experience is critical. I am thankful to those parents who started and advocated for this project before we moved here. I am looking forward to having an inclusive playground!" - Mindy
"We are excited to have an inclusive playground at Green Acres! My heart breaks for the kids who can't play with their peers on the current playground, and I am proud of our PTO for spearheading this effort!" -Anonymous
Thank you for supporting our kids,

FALL INTO CREATIVITY!
Thursday, Nov. 20
5:00 - 7:00 pm
Gratitude Presentation @ 6:00 pm

We are excited for you to read The Mouse and the Motorcycle with us this year. We have provided one book for your family to keep. We ask that you read it together. We realize this book may be too hard for some and too easy for others. However, reading it as a family, all children can enjoy the book.
Our literacy night’s theme will be centered around the book. We invite you to join us that night for fun literacy activities.
Thanks for your support!
